By MYBRANDBOOK
Nokia mobile phones being promoted by HMD Global, A Foxconn company, has appointed film actress Parineeti Chopra to promote the company’s latest smartphone Nokia 6.1.
In a tweet Parineeti said, NOKIA was my first phone, my family’s first phone, everybody’s first phone!! and it will be a part of my life forever :) happy to make this relationship official!! About Parineeti, she’s always on time. Yes, that’s right Parineeti Chopra is so punctual her friends call her Punctual-i-neeti. It’s a terrible pet name for someone who doesn’t make their friends wait, but it’s true.
Nokia has a history of creating high-quality phones which were in sync with the needs of customers. After the HMD takeover, we have seen the Nokia brand comeback both in the smartphone and the feature phone category. Nokia’s comeback as a brand in the last one year, created it’s niece in a very sort span of time.
The Nokia 6.1 is the successor to the Nokia 6, one of the most successful android phones of NOKIA. It comes with 5.5 inch screen size and features ZEISS optics, dual-tone flash, 4K video recording, spatial audio, a fast charge and a Qualcomm Snapdragon T 630 processor.
As a talented actress who has received several accolades, including the Filmfare Award and the National Film Award, Parineeti sets the right context for the purpose-led millennial of today, who wants to make the most of everyday moments with friends and have fun. Just like Parineeti brings spunk and easy confidence to everyday moments, the Nokia 6.1 is a phone this generation can rely on to work hard and play hard. I hope our millennial fans relate to these films and can smile with them. Says, Jyotsna Makkar, Head of Marketing – India Region, HMD Global.
Nokia brand is once again emblazoned across a whole range of new smartphones. The company said two-thirds of Nokia phone users around the world today are less than 35 years of age and hence this campaign is focused on the millennial generation. The campaign starts on 6th July with 2 fictional digital films that feature Parineeti.
