HP unveils new Chromebook convertibles

HP Inc. has expanded its Chromebook portfolio in India with the new HP Chromebook x360, 12” and 14” variants that will cater to the diverse computing and entertainment use cases of the modern consumers. With new-age features from the Google ecosystem – Google Assistant, Google One and Google Play store, these new devices will provide enhanced productivity and entertainment experience to the users, at work and play. The devices have premium and quieter fan-less design, slimmer bezels, versatile form factor (laptop, tablet, stand and tent modes) and support the Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) pen.
The new HP Chromebooks with long battery life are best suited for the mobile lifestyle of the millennials and Gen Z users. Features like the voice enabled Google Assistant, Google One storage and support for more than 3 million apps on the Google Play store, makes these devices a compelling value-for-money proposition. The versatile form factor of the convertibles along with the 3:2 aspect ratio of the display enhances content consumption, enables better browsing experience and improves productivity.

Powered by an Intel Gemini Lake Dual core processors, both the HP Chromebook x360 12” and 14” convertibles will come equipped with aHD+touchscreen (3:2 Aspect Ratio), which will provide a superior visual, video and creative experience. With versatility and mobility as the key focus, the two convertibles are built to deliver top-notch performance at work and play on-the-go. Both the variants have up to 11 hours of battery life. The HP Stereo speakers and expert audio tuning from B&O guarantee a more immersive audio experience.
Furthermore, keeping in mind the considerable storage needs of the modern users; the device offers 100 GB of storage as part of Google One subscription (free for 1 year) and supports expandable memory of 256 GB.
Pricing, availability and bundled offers -
· The HP Chromebook x360 12” convertible and HP Chromebook x360 14” will be available in Ceramic white at a starting price of INR 29,990 and INR 34,990 respectively
· The HP Chromebooks will be available at 250 HP World Stores in 25 cities, HP Online Store, and leading e-commerce players Amazon and Flipkart, Large Format Retailers – Reliance, Croma and Vijay Sales
· Additionally, users can get a USI stylus (optional) at an MRP of INR 3,999.
