Bhaskar Bakthavatsalu Resigned From Check Point India

Bhaskar Bakthavatsalu, Former MD of Check Point India to leave the company after a long Journey of Fifteen years and will be in the company till December 2019.

 

Bhaskar started Checkpoint Software Technologies India operation in 2004. Just last month Sundar N Balasubramanian was appointed as the India MD by replacing Bhaskar and Bhaskar was moved to a new global role into System Integration. Bhaskar was instrumental to lead the company’s operations for last fifteen years in building the sales, technical, management and channel ecosystem of the security company from grounds up.

 

“Bhaskar has been with Check Point since 2004 and has contributed to the growth of our business in India. We would like to thank him for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavours,” said the company’s official statement.

 

Sharat Sinha, Vice President / General Manager, Asia Pacific & Japan, Check Point Software Technologies said, “India continues to be an important market for Check Point in Asia Pacific. Under the strong leadership of our Managing Director for India and SAARC, Sundar N Balasubramanian, our team of over 150 employees and our network of partners will continue to meet the market’s cyber security needs as India’s economy continues to grow and organisations across sectors embrace digital transformation.”
