Realme C1 launched in India

Realme has unveiled a C1, a “Mega Battery”, “Mega Notch Screen” fashionable and trendy smartphone. Priced at Rs.6,999/-, Realme C1 is set to redefine the entry-level smartphones in India. Realme C1 will be exclusively available on Flipkart from October 11, 2018 at 12:00 noon onwards.
Performance benchmark of entry-level phones
It comes with a 4,230mAh Mega Battery, the phone can last for 44 hours in phone calls, 18 hours in playing music with Wi-Fi, and 10 hours of gaming, which is comparable to using a power bank for the same duration. In addition, Realme C1 smartly restricts background applications not in use through its two core power-saving principles – "APP-freezing Power Saver" and "Quick App Freezing", to reduce the overall power consumption.
Realme C1 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. With advanced 14nm process, and a basic frequency up to 1.8GHz, it can efficiently reduce power consumption and control heat. With more powerful image processing matched with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM capacity storage, it can run multiple types of games smoothly, without any lag.
This product supports dual 4G and dual VoLTE, which allows users to surf the Internet while making phone calls. Dual SIM cards, three independent cards, independent placement of Nano SIM, Nano SIM and Micro SD cards greatly meet the communication needs of young people, and allow them to freely switch between work and social life.
Design benchmark for entry-level phones
Realme C1 is the first notch full screen in its price segment and has a 6.2-inch super large screen. By more compact arrangement of the earpiece, front camera and the light sensor, coupled with 2.05mm ultra-narrow bezel and upgraded dispensing process, screen bezel is further narrowed by 16%, the phone achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 88.8% and 19:9 screen display.
In terms of materials, Realme C1 third-generation Corning Gorilla Glass is used, which has native damage resistance and scratch resistance.
The product is available in two colours – Ocean Blue and Deep Black.
Experience Benchmark for Entry-level Phones
Realme C1 is equipped with a 13 MP + 2 MP dual camera lens, together with the software algorithm, making the shooting contour clearer and the background blur more natural. In portrait mode, people are more prominent, and photos are more layered. It supports PDAF, improves focus speed, shortens focus time, and captures every wonderful second.
The front 5 MP camera also feature AI beauty and has 296 recognition points, intelligently recognizing the gender, age, skin tone, and even skin type of characters through AI algorithms, and accurately identifying and providing individualized beauty scheme from 8 million beauty solutions. Intelligent AI Beauty shall record and learn the photo editing habits of the user in the local album and apply the editing habits into photographing.
Realme C1 supports facial unlock and SmartLock. Facial unlock captures 128 face recognition points through the front camera. SmartLock records and recognizes frequently stayed locations and mark them as trusty places, where the mobile phone shall automatically stay unlocked.
The ColorOS 5.1 on the Realme C1 supports clone apps, which allows two social media accounts to be used at the same time. “Full screen multi-tasking” enables the user to operate applications as WhatsApp while watching videos or playing games at landscape mode.
The release of Realme C1 is another refinement on the Realme product series, which once more expands the product scope to meet the requirements of more customers. Focusing on “design for young people”, Realme again brings to more young people a product with both fashionable design and enjoyable experiences.
