Avaneesh Kumar Vats, formerly General Manager (IT) at Energy Efficiency Services Ltd & Head (IT) at CESL, has recently joined the Techno Electric & Engineering Co Ltd. as Vice President (Digital Infrastructure & Innovation) and Head (IT/ERP). in this new position, he will lead the company's digital transformation efforts by developing robust IT architecture and infrastructure strategies to support business growth and expansion.Techno Electric & Engineering Co Ltd is actively diversifying into data centers, smart meters, and renewable energy sectors.
With 22+ years in the tech industry, Avaneesh is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience leveraging technology to tackle business challenges. During his tenure at EESL & CESL, he pioneered IT strategies, particularly in Business Applications ERP, IoT-based centralized monitoring systems for the Street Light National Program, Cloud adoption, Automation, and energy efficiency marketplaces etc.
Prior to his tenure at EESL and CESL, Avaneesh had notable positions at POWERGRID, NTPC, and Sapient, contributing to his well-rounded experience in IT Operations Technology, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Solutions, IoT, and Automation. His academic background in Computer Science Engineering complements his diverse industry expertise.
He is actively involved in the Artificial Intelligence Sectional Committee, LITD 30, and IEC Sys Smart Energy sub-committee LITD 10_1 of Bureau of India standard (BIS) for standardization in the respective area. His involvement in these committees underlines his commitment to driving advancements and standardization in relevant technological domains.
