After seven months of extravagant pre-wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani, the son of India's richest man Mukesh Ambani, completed his long-awaited marriage to pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant on Friday. The ceremony, attended by thousands of guests, marked the culmination of a series of lavish events leading up to the grand wedding day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a notable entrance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding function held on Saturday at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai's BKC. The event garnered significant attention when a video of the Prime Minister's entry went viral. In another video, PM Modi is seen blessing the newlyweds during the Shubh Ashirwad Ceremony, where both Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant respectfully touched the Prime Minister's feet.

The star-studded event took place on Friday at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive, a convention centre built and owned by the Ambani family. The ceremony was attended by a plethora of celebrities, politicians, film stars, and cricketers, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.

Following the blessing of the couple, PM Modi also paid his respects to Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth Swami Sadananda Saraswati and Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Avimukteshwaranand, who were seated on the stage.

The wedding also attracted many of the biggest names in Indian entertainment, sport, business and politics, from Bollywood stars like Rajinikanth and Sanjay Dutt, to former president Ram Nath Kovind, the chief ministers of various states and numerous members of the country’s revered cricket team.
