Synechron and Campus Pride Partner to Promote and Align Diversity Initiatives

Synechron, Inc., a leading digital transformation consulting firm focused exclusively on the financial services industry, today announced its new partnership with Campus Pride, the leading national non-profit organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBTQ students.

This new alliance will enable Synechron to support Campus Pride’s initiatives, including serving as an inaugural partner for the Campus Pride Career Connect, a new platform launching Fall 2021, with the aim of creating meaningful, authentic relationships between employers and LGBTQ college students. With this partnership, Synechron can tap into a highly skilled and diverse population of graduating students to start their careers working for a well-respected, global digital acceleration consulting firm that highly values diversity, equity and inclusion. LGBTQ college students also benefit from Synechron employees who have the digital technology knowledge and hands-on experience volunteering their time within the Campus Pride platform. They serve as mentors and connectors, helping students with career prep, interview skills and other resources to help them find jobs and internships.

May Yang, Global Head of Operations at Synechron said, “Synechron is committed to advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs across our global office footprint. Our goal is to support and attract top notch technology talent who aspire to work in an environment that not only champions their digital technology skills but where they are embraced for exactly who they are – no matter their cultural background, different perspectives, individual beliefs and norms, or lifestyle choices.”

Kishor Kumar, Managing Director, and Head of the Charlotte, NC Business Unit of Synechron, said, “We have always sought to find ways to support our local and national charitable organizations whose members are fiercely dedicated to their individual cause, and who are working diligently to have a positive impact on the world.” He added, “Campus Pride’s initiatives dovetail with our own beliefs that welcome individuals of all types as they pursue and grow their careers.”

Shane Windmeyer, Founder & Executive Director of Campus Pride, said, “As we celebrate our two decades of work helping LGBTQ college students, we are excited to debut our new Campus Pride Career Connect platform later this Fall, and we proudly celebrate June as Pride Month. Our Pride Month activities will include our Lavender Graduation virtual event ceremony on Saturday, June 5th, in partnership with National PFLAG, Safe Space and Stop The Hate training sessions, a Juneteenth event, and an event on the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.” He added, “We are grateful for our partnership with Synechron for supporting these initiatives to guarantee equal rights and opportunity to all, and to embrace and empower the full array of individuals.”
