Technology blueprint for year ahead
Regarding my agenda for 2023-24, here are some of my priorities:
In summary, my approach to managing technical projects, deploying solutions, and leveraging technology is to prioritize business objectives, collaborate closely with other departments, and leverage cost-effective and scalable technologies. My agenda for 2023-24 is focused on digital transformation, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, agile methodologies, and AI and machine learning.
Fortifying organization from cyber threats
Here are some ways we are strengthening our organization:
Risk Assessment: We conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize security efforts based on potential impact and likelihood.
Cybersecurity Training: We provide regular cybersecurity training to all employees to ensure they are aware of best practices.
Access Control: We enforce strict access control policies to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data and systems.
Patch Management: We regularly update our systems and software with the latest patches and security updates to prevent known vulnerabilities from being exploited.
Endpoint Security: We use endpoint security solutions such as anti-virus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems to protect against threats.
Network Segmentation: We implement network segmentation to isolate critical systems and reduce the impact of a potential breach.
Incident Response: We have a robust incident response plan in place to quickly detect and respond to security incidents.
Third-Party Risk Management: We assess the cybersecurity posture of our third-party vendors to ensure they meet our security standards and do not pose a risk to our organization.
