IDEMIA chairs Matthew Foxton, as the new Regional President, India

The Augmented Identity company, IDEMIA announced the appointment of Matthew Foxton as its new Regional President for India. Matthew has been the Executive Vice-President, Branding & Communications, member of the Group Executive Committee at IDEMIA, a role that he will continue to fulfil.
Matthew will succeed Sanjeev Shriya, who played a central role in the development of IDEMIA India over the last 25 years and who will now move to a non-operational role as an advisor to the Global CEO. Matthew has a wealth of experience working with multinational companies serving both the government and enterprise technology sectors. He has been spearheading the global branding and communication initiatives for IDEMIA since 2017.
Pierre Barrial, President and CEO IDEMIA, said, “Matthew’s strong leadership and understanding of our Group, as well as his cultural link to India given his status as an Overseas Citizen of India, are clear assets for his new assignment. India has been key to our overall growth strategy for IDEMIA. As the Regional President, Matthew will lead the group’s efforts in the India market. Matthew brings in the global experience and has an inherent understanding of the Identity business. This appointment is a big step towards the company solidifying its commitment to the India market.
