Redefining Examination Security in India through Touchless Biometric-Based ID Verification Solution
By MYBRANDBOOK
TECH5 and Innovatiview announce their partnership to bring a face recognition-based examination ID to the Indian market. This much needed innovative exam security solution in the digital transformation era can be incorporated into the existing examination process without stopping or changing it.
The new offering is based on the exam security solutions of Innovatiview enhanced with one of the TECH5 touchless biometric technologies, T5-Face – providing 99.98% accuracy across large databases and ensured by a combination of convolutional neural networks that utilize the most up-to-date architecture as well as progressive methods of training. The joint solution allows for digitally onboarding students and candidates capturing biographical data and a face photograph and subsequent candidate verification at a registration desk upon arrival at the examination venue on the day of the exam or interview. Biometric identity verification prevents the possibility of malpractices like impersonation at the student examinations where another individual, who is more qualified or better prepared, takes the exam in place of the actual candidate.
Established in 2010 and headquartered at Delhi with branches in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Bhopal, Innovatiview has now grown to 300+ employees and 25000 associates pan India.
The company has provided its services in over 700 critical projects and secured millions of candidates. The combined partner solution of Innovatiview and TECH5 will be used by various universities and government organizations in India to reduce identity fraud during the recruitment and examination process of more than 6 million individuals annually.
“Aligned with our vision to make India’s examination industry to greater heights by providing unwavering support in curbing fraudulent practices, this partnership will utilize TECH5’s flagship product T5-Face to strengthen our bouquet of examination security solutions in India. With this global partnership, we bring AI-based, high-speed and touchless biometric face recognition technology to India, enabling efficiency in the real-world projects like examination security, especially in these unprecedented COVID times” – comments Ashish Mittal, Founder and Director, Innovatiview.
The partners plan to further enrich the offering with T5-ABIS – the TECH5 identification and deduplication platform. This will enable the matching of a candidate’s face photograph against a database of previously registered candidates at the stage of digital onboarding to make sure that an individual was not enrolled earlier with a different identity.
Innovatiview is also looking to introduce T5-IDencode, the latest innovation of TECH5 in the field of digital identity, as the solution tailored for mobile examination ID allowing for true offline verification.
“We are proud to partner with Innovatiview – leader in the market of examination security in the country. We believe that our biometric solutions will elevate the security of the examination process to a new level without compromising convenience. Reducing identity fraud in the examination process will help to secure a bright future for thousands of deserving youths of the nation” – says Rahul Parthe, Co-founder and CTO, TECH5.
