Shashi Tharoor takes a jibe on Government’s "Self-reliant India Mission", says repackaging of Make in India
By MYBRANDBOOK
Taking a jibe at the Rs 20 lakh core economic package and "Self-reliant India Mission" announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shashi Tharoor said that it is nothing new but a repackaging of "Make in India" initiative.
He expressed his views on it in a tweet with a Hindi couplet.
The couplet roughly translates to: "He sold the old couplet/lion with a new name; He sold piles of dreams again.”
The Prime Minister has recently announced a Rs 20 lakh lakh crore special economic package for the country to become "self-reliant" and deal with covid-19 crisis.
He also announced that the fourth of lockdown will be completely redesigned with new rules and will commence from May 18.
