"COVID-19 crises is Agni Pariksha": Ramayana's Sita Deepika Chikhlia

Deepika Chikhlia, who had won many hearts playing Sita in Ramayana, took to social media to request her fans to stay at home and be safe from ongoing pandemic Coronavirus. When Prime Minister announced the extended lockdown till May 3; Deepika reiterated what Modi said in his speech, about taking special care of the elderly people, following the guidelines from the health ministry to build immunity and maintaining social distancing.
Also thanking the frontline healthcare workers for investing their days and nights in the welfare of the people fighting COVID-19 in the hospitals. Deepika called the coronavirus crisis an ‘agni-pariksha‘and lockdown a ‘Laxman Rekha‘. She further said, “Let’s not cross the Laxman Rekha, be safe and healthy at home”.
