Samsung Notes reaches 1 billion installs on Play Store

The Samsung Notes app has been announced to be one of the best apps developed in-house by Samsung for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, and it has now reached an impressive milestone on the Google Play Store. Samsung Notes recently crossed a billion installs on Android’s default app store, joining a couple of other Samsung apps that have achieved this feat, including Samsung Internet, Samsung Email, and Samsung Voice Recorder.

Despite being an important part of Samsung’s proprietary app lineup, Samsung Notes doesn’t come pre-installed on every Galaxy device. That’s because Notes is designed around the S Pen that you used to get exclusively on Galaxy Note devices and some tablets before Samsung brought support for its stylus to the Galaxy S series phones with the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Users can use it to make text notes, and there are plenty of other excellent features, like being able to import PDF files and write on them or adding voice notes that sync to user’s drawings and notations. All those features are now at the disposal of more than a billion Galaxy users, or at least a billion devices as that are what ultimately counts.
