Rekha Gupta takes oath as the new CM for the capital of India

A seasoned leader with a strong background in student politics, she began her journey in 1992 as a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) at Daulat Ram College. She later served as the President of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) in 1996, cementing her leadership credentials.
In her inaugural address post the Delhi CM oath ceremony in February 2025, Rekha Gupta outlined her vision for the city. Her key focus areas include:
Infrastructure Development: Modernizing roads, public transport, and urban planning.
Women Empowerment: Launching initiatives for women’s safety, employment, and education.
Clean and Green Delhi: Strengthening environmental policies and waste management systems.
