Dr. R S Sharma is the CEO of National Health Authority, MoHFW (Govt. of India).
He was the first Director General of the Unique Identification Authority of India and was subsequently appointed as the Chairman of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Dr. Ram Sewak is responsible for implementing India’s $1.43 billion public health insurance / assurance scheme Ayushman-Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojaya (AB-PMJAY). Dr. Sharma’s philosophy has been to keep the customer at the focus of all regulatory action.
