Abhilash Purushothaman appointed as Regional VP & GM, Asia at Cisco AppDynamics

AppDynamics, the leading Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and full-stack, business-centric observability solution has announced the promotion of Abhilash Purushothaman to the role of Regional Vice President & General Manager, Asia, for leading sales operations and growing the AppDynamics business across India, ASEAN and Greater China markets.
Abhilash joined AppDynamics as Managing Director, India and SAARC where he led the go-to-market strategy and operations. Abhilash has a track record of success in reinforcing AppDynamics’ presence in the region, delivering unprecedented results and helping enterprises and service providers realise the complete value of full-stack observability with business context.
“Abhilash has been instrumental to Cisco AppDynamics’ success in the region over the past three years, and this promotion is recognition of all the great results he’s achieved. I know that Abhilash is the right person to further grow our business, strengthen the brand, attract new talent and help our customers unleash the full potential of full-stack observability across the strategically important Asia market,” said Antoine Le Tard, Global Vice President, APJC at Cisco AppDynamics, to whom Abhilash will be reporting.
