L&T Construction inks contract with Odisha govt

Larsen & Toubro has secured a large order with the Government of Odisha for a state-of-the-art hospital in Cuttack.
The duration of the EPC project is 30 months and includes maintenance for five years for VHT, Landscape, FAS, CCTV, ACS, AV and AMS.
The facility will have a total of 2,058 beds covering the specialty departments such as Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Hepatology, Cardiology, Surgical blocks, Casualty, trauma, and general surgery.
L&T's buildings and factories business arm will construct four clinical blocks comprising composite structural systems and other subordinate buildings with a total built-up area of 3.4 million Sqft.
According to L&T, the value of the contracts lies between Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore.
