LG to increase market share in India

LG the market leader in home appliances like refrigerator, washing machine and microwave oven. It is the second largest brand in LED television has added more layers and given more responsibility to Indian managers so that quick decisions can be taken.

 

The Korean major has made necessary restructure in the organisation in a bid to boost sales by appointing Sanjeev Agarwal as its national sales head and appointing Rajeev jain to head modern retail, brand shops and sell out. Ravinder Zutshi as senior director of its enterprise products business, including commercial air conditioners, B2B products and IT products and Rahul Tayal, who was heading brand stores, modern trade and online sales, is now overall head of marketing and online sales.

 

Ravinder Zutshi, industry veteran and former managing deputy director at Samsung retired in 2014 and former managing director of Optiemus Infracom Ltd was working as a consultant with LG for its enterprise business since last year.

 

From sources, LG also task forces to monitor performance of their branch offices by appointing senior manager at various levels.
