Abhishek Kapoor's "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" casts Vaani Kapoor as Transgender

As per the grapevine, Vaani Kapoor is playing transgender character in her next flick Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, with Ayushmann Khurrana, directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
Ayushmann plays a lover boy, who is with an intense relationship with a transgender person; is what the story revolves around.
The sources say that Vaani Kapoor is indeed stretching the gender dynamics in the film.
Speaking of Ayushmann Khurrana, the versatile actor will play a character never seen before in the movie.
Ayushmann Khurrana, famous for nailing any role with perfection, will reportedly play the role of a lover boy in the movie.
Vaani Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana will share the screen space for the first time and indeed it will be an experience to watch.
On the work front, Vaani Kapoor will star opposite Akshay Kumar in the much-awaited Bell Bottom. A few weeks back Vaani returned to India after wrapping up the shoot for the film in Scotland.
