CommScope Announces Leadership Transition

CommScope announced stepping down of Eddie Edwards as President and Chief Executive Officer on 1 October 2020, after a successful 15-year career at the Company, Eddie will be succeeded by Chuck Treadway, a seasoned innovator and engineer, who officially joined the Company today. We are grateful for Eddie’s service to CommScope and wish him all the best. While this is an important development for CommScope, today’s leadership transition is the result of the Company’s ongoing succession planning program led by the Board. To that end, our entire team remains steadfast in our commitment to executing against our business objectives and upholding the highest level of ethics and standards. We expect this transition to be seamless for you.
The leadership with Chuck’s strategic, operational, and go-to-market acumen join CommScope during this critical time in the Company’s history. Chuck has a strong leadership background, as well as experience successfully growing multiple global businesses in a range of industries. The Board is confident Chuck has the right expertise and will bring a new view of our markets to help CommScope prosper and create significant value for our suppliers.
