HPE will move its corporate headquarters to Santa Clara, California

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has transformed into a smaller, nimbler company, and announced that the company will move its corporate headquarters to Santa Clara, California from its current Palo Alto location by the end of 2018. There are plans to sell its Palo Alto building and relocate employees to newer, nearby sites including San Jose, Milpitas and the company’s state-of-the-art HPE Aruba offices in Santa Clara, which will become the new global headquarters.

The HPE Aruba Office was recently built as a showcase for Aruba’s intelligent workplace technologies. The building is a next-generation digital workplace that provides innovative tools to enable employees to quickly and efficiently locate each other find appropriate meeting spaces and use technology to collaborate seamlessly.

Aruba designed a new 230,000 sq. ft. campus with an open floor plan. Housed in a new LEED Silver building, it includes multiple types of community spaces, quiet zones, collaboration areas, right-sized workstations, hot desking options, a 10,000 sq. ft. Customer Experience Center (CEC) and smart innovations required to empower the GenMobile workforce. “Providing high-performance connectivity is no longer enough,” Melkote says. “Employees need tools to quickly and efficiently locate each other, find an appropriate meeting space and use technology to collaborate seamlessly.” Supplying intelligent connectivity for its highly mobile workforce throughout the six-story building, and the ground floor R&D facility next door, required the latest in Aruba’s wireless and wired solutions for secure, resilient and scalable networking.

“Over the past two years we’ve made tremendous progress towards becoming a simpler, nimbler and more focused company,” said Meg Whitman, CEO of HPE. “I’m excited to move our headquarters to an innovative new building that provides a next-generation digital experience for our employees, customers and partners. Our new building will better reflect who HPE is today and where we are heading in the future.”

HPE is witnessing growth in hyper-convergence infrastructure, and a majority of its customers from the banking, telecom and manufacturing verticals. The growing adoption of newer innovative into storage solutions, coupled with the benefits of our all-flash offerings across the BFSI and telecom industries, has resulted in the growth of external-storage market share in India.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)’s primary focus is to make hybrid IT (information technology) simple for businesses. The company believes that a smaller and leaner organization will help it reach strategic goals and objectives faster, driven by a more efficient operating model and aims to cater specifically to customers running services both on their own premises and in the cloud.
