vivo to enter premium smartphone segment with the new X-series

With an aim to revolutionize mobile photography experience, vivo announced its entry into the premium smartphone segment in India. The company plans to expand its product portfolio with the camera-centric X-series in India that aims to provide a premium photography experience with a balance of technology and user-centric design.
The soon-to-be-launched X-series is a realization of vivo’s commitment to premium design elements and innovation. Under the X-series, vivo shall launch a series of premium smartphones - X50 and X50 Pro, which will feature professional-grade camera technologies that will offer a delightful mobile photography experience. As a consumer-centric brand, vivo has successfully catered to the diverse needs of Indian consumers and offered cutting-edge technology solutions to provide an ultimate smartphone experience.
Nipun Marya, Director - Brand Strategy, vivo India, said, “There has been a shift in the needs of consumers in the last few years. With a growing appetite for premium smartphones, consumers are looking for a premium device that elevates their smartphone experience. Continuing vivo's commitment to 'Make in India', the upcoming X50 series will be manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility.
