ITI to host first ICT, IoT expo successfully



India’s first PSU into manufacturing various technology products and solutions has organised the ICT& IOT Start-up expo successfully on 2 long days on on September 1 and 2 at its Bengaluru plant, where there are 500 serious visitors has attended the first day of the event, where there were more than 50 start-ups has to showcased their solutions where technology companies including Cambium Networks and Logic Fruit Technologies participated as the Platinum Sponsors and Inspira, Interlace and Quardgen Wireless solutions had participated as the Gold sponsors and another 8 corporates had showcased as the Silver sponsors .

 

More than 500 enterpreneurs and technocrats has participated in the first day of the event, where various technology companies had showcased on the emerging technologies into IoT, ICT and defence technology and there are various key-takeaways in the interesting panel discussion sessions.

 

On the second day, the event will have the presence of Minister Manoj Sinha, State (Independent Charge) for Communications along with Aruna Sundararajan, Chairman, Telecom Commission and Secretary, Department of Telecom, and N Sivasailam, Special Secretary, Department of Telecom. The minister will also dedicate the latest telecom testing centre to the nation, on this occasion.

 

The Expo is focussed on opening up business opportunities through the ICT, IOT and defence technology-based solutions. It has focused on standards, policies and regulations on 5G technology, solutions for IoT and Smart City, latest trends in Data security/centre/mining, technologies for Defence, telecom testing facilities that have the potential to transform business. The uniqueness of the event is to identify ptroducts from these companies which ITI can take up for manufacturing through Transfer of Technology (ToT).ITI intends to sign and exchange ToT with potential start-up & establish companies during the event and the most interesting objective is to enable these companies to utilise ITI’s infrastructure to utilise ITI’s infrastructure and manufacture their products in ITI under “make in India” initiative.
