YouTube launches a new tool for creators called Brainstorm with Gemini

A new feature that allows YouTube Creators to acquire video ideas, thumbnails, and titles inspired by Google Gemini is now being tested by the platform. In a video posted on the company’s Creator Insider channel, YouTube announced a new feature called “Brainstorm with Gemini.” A small, limited trial of the new feature is being offered to a select group of creators, and YouTube plans to solicit feedback from these creators before making the feature universally available.
Earlier this year in June, YouTube was testing a feature that summarised comments using AI so Creators can get inspiration for new content based on what audiences are discussing. Compared to other video sharing platforms and YouTube-like services, the new tool gives YouTube a head start since no other video sharing platform offers these advanced features at the moment.
The report also states that creators now have the option to use the new Brainstorm with Gemini in addition to the existing inspiration tool to get help with videos. To give you a quick recap, the inspiration tool gave Creators topic ideas for their audience and even generated an outline of talking points to get started. YouTube also said that it will see if Creators prefer the existing tool or use the new Gemini powered functionality to get video ideas.
If anyone is interested in trying out the new tool, he/she needs to open Creator Studio and type a video idea in the search bar. Here, he/she will be able to choose between the inspiration tool or Brainstorm with Gemini.
