Over 9 million fans cheer for India

Cheer for India, Jio for India’ initiative for the India-Pakistan cricket clash has garnered over 9 million fans and cricket lovers Within 24 hours of going live on www.jiocheer.com.

 

Jio, India’s largest LTE network, is inviting 1.2 billion Indians to create the loudest cheer, digitally, for the Men in Blue ahead of their much-hyped cricket encounter against arch rivals Pakistan.

 

"Cheer Louder, Stand Prouder" is at the core of Jio’s cricket-themed digital campaign as it brings together fans for a thunderous cheer for India. As this cricket crazy country gears up to watch the marquee India-Pakistan clash on Sunday, passions are soaring high. Indian cricket lovers are already demonstrating peak support for their country.

 

The ‘Cheer for India’ campaign operates through a microsite www.jiocheer.com and leverages popular social media platforms to turn the passion of fans into online cheers that resonate the passion of Indian cricket fans during India-Pakistan clashes. So this season don’t just be a spectator but engage with the game by being a part of the ‘Cheer for India’ brigade.
