ZTE To Launch Axon 10 Pro 5G Smartphone In May

Chinese technology firm ZTE Corporation has said it will launch its next smartphone ZTE Axon 10 Pro, in Europe and China in May 2019. The Axon 10 Pro 5G is the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship based smartphone that adopts F2FS file system.

 

According to AnTuTu Benchmark.  ZTE Axon 10 Pro performed excellently in the MEM (memory and storage) test, over 150% higher than other models, ZTE claimed.

 

The smartphone from ZTE integrates F2FS file system, an intelligent anti-fragmentation mechanism, to effectively solve the freezing problem of Android smartphones.

 

Compared with the traditional EXT4 file format, F2FS file system can provide a 15% faster file reading speed, 20% higher storage performance, 200% faster operating speed as well as a significantly improved 4k file reading/writing speed.

 

In addition, ZTE Axon 10 Pro utilizes a liquid cooling technology and composite phase-change thermal materials, allowing the CPU to operate at high frequency points for a long time, thereby effectively guaranteeing the strong performance of the smartphone.

 

ZTE has been actively collaborating with leading partners to accelerate the 5G commercialization. To date, ZTE has conducted 5G device field tests with major operators in 8 countries around the world, including Austria, China, Finland and Spain.

 

The ZTE Axon10 Pro 5G was showcased at MWC2019 in Barcelona on February 25, 2019 as ZTE’s first 5G flagship smartphone. The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage space. It comes with triple camera set up at the rear with 48 megapixel primary camera, 20 megapixel ultra wide and 8 megapixel telephoto sensor. It has also got a 20 megapixel front camera.

 

The phone runs on Android 9 and offers 6.47 inch screen with AMOLED display. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro comes in an aluminium frame having front and back panels in glass. The phone was demonstrated at MWC2019 in just one color - Blue, but it is expected that the Chinese technology major will bring out some more variants when it launches commercially in May. The phone carries 4000 mAh battery.
