Isha Ambani and Alia Bhatt join forces for kids’ clothing brand

Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. and Alia Bhatt's kids’ clothing line recently announced their alliance. “I'm happy to announce that Ed-a-Mamma and Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. have formed a joint venture”, the actor captioned a photo she shared with Isha.

Ed-a-Mamma is a heartfelt startup that was bootstrapped. The biggest retailer in India is Reliance Retail. Their shared goal is to continue creating a homegrown, pro-local brand of kids' items that are secure, tolerant of parents, and environmentally sound. For Isha and Alia, this is also about two moms coming together on a more intimate level. That only makes it even more unique.

Karan Johar responded to the post shared by Alia by saying, "Badhai ho. Alia's mother posted "Wonderful news congratulations to two amazing women," while Alia's mother wrote "So proud." Others sent congratulations to the new business partners in the form of messages.

It has been previously reported that the brand acquisition by the Ambanis is being viewed as a strategic move because Alia's brand is already well-known in the kids' clothing market. According to the source, Alia's brand was reportedly valued at around Rs 150 crore early this year, and the Ambani father-daughter team has suggested buying it for about Rs 300-350 crore.
