POCO India unveils POCO X5 5G priced at INR 18,999

POCO has announced the launch of a new smartphone under its popular X-series, with the launch of POCO X5. Equipped with exciting features like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 6.67" 120Hz Super AMOLED Display, 48MP triple camera and 5,000mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging POCO India brings #The5GAllStar to the market.

Performance & Connectivity
POCO X5 5G is powered by one of the most powerful 5G processors in the segment, Snapdragon 695 which offers high-bandwidth and low-latency connections. The octa-core CPU features two powerful Arm Cortex-A78 cores operating up to 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores operating up to 1.8GHz. POCO X5 5G comes with 7 5G bands and has dual 5G support with up to 2.5 Gbps download speed. It also supports 5G SA out of the box. Further, the processor also boasts an Adreno 619 GPU and delivers the AnTuTu score of ~400K.
Display
POCO X5 5G is one of the rare 5G smartphones in the segment to feature an FHD+ Super AMOLED display. It flaunts a 6.67" large display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection that levels up the content viewing experience of the user. Equipped with super-resolution touch, POCO X5 5G provides a combination of a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate making the experience smoother. The smartphone also features 1200nits peak brightness and comes with sunlight mode. POCO X5 5G boasts a contrast ratio of 4,500,000:1 which offers users a top-notch content viewing experience. The display comes with an SGS care certification and SGS seamless pro display certification.
Camera
The all-new member of the X-series, POCO X5 5G flaunts a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera that is able to capture crisp pictures and videos. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro sensor for nuanced detailing. Further, the camera is equipped with exciting capture modes including HDR, Night mode and AI scene detection and it also has a 13MP front camera that gives you great clarity and detailing.
Battery
The smartphone supports a 5,000mAh battery which provides enough juice to take an average user through a weekend. POCO X5 5G comes with an in-box 33W fast charger and charges and half of the battery gets juiced up in just 22 mins. The new entrant gives sufficient battery backup for daily tasks and users can say goodbye to battery anxiety thanks to the fast charging technology.
Other features
Delivering a holistic smartphone experience, POCO X5 5G caters to all basic yet important requirements of consumers. POCO X5 5G comes with an IP53 rating, an ergonomic design and a side fingerprint sensor which is faster and more effective. The smartphone weighs 188g and is 7.98mm thin. It also supports MIUI dialer and also a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, both variants have 5GB expandable Turbo RAM capabilities.
Price and Availability
Launched in two storage variants, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB and three colours- Supernova Green, Wildcat Blue, Jaguar Black, POCO X5 5G is priced at INR 18,999 and INR 20,999, respectively. It will be available on Flipkart starting March 21.
