OPPO India has introduced the K13 Turbo Series 5G, featuring the K13 Turbo Pro 5G and K13 Turbo 5G smartphones. These are India’s first smartphones to include a built-in cooling fan, aimed at delivering better thermal management during intensive use. The series targets gamers, heavy multitaskers, and users needing extended performance without overheating.

Cooling Technology and Performance

The K13 Turbo Series uses OPPO’s Storm Engine, an advanced air-cooling system that improves airflow by 220% compared to typical smartphone fans and boosts cooling efficiency by 20%. This system lowers device temperatures by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius during prolonged gaming or heavy use, reducing thermal throttling. The fan module is compact, 70% smaller than traditional solutions, and features full waterproof certification (IPX9, IPX8, IPX6).

In addition to the fan, the phones include a vapor chamber and graphite layers to spread heat across key components. This combination helps maintain stable frame rates and prevents overheating during extended sessions.

The K13 Turbo Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, offering a 31% increase in CPU speed and 49% more GPU power than the previous model. It supports Wi-Fi 7, 5G speeds up to 4.2 Gbps, and Bluetooth 6.0. The standard K13 Turbo 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which balances performance and power efficiency for sustained gaming and multitasking.

Pricing and Availability

The OPPO K13 Turbo 5G is priced at ₹27,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and ₹29,999 for the 8GB+256GB version. It is available in White Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick colours. The K13 Turbo Pro 5G starts at ₹37,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹39,999 for 12GB+256GB, with Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick options.

Pre-bookings open on 11 August 2025. The Pro model will go on sale from 15 August, and the standard model from 18 August through Flipkart, OPPO India’s e-store, and select retail outlets. Early buyers can get an instant ₹3,000 discount with select bank offers or exchange bonuses, plus a 9-month No Cost EMI plan. Flipkart also offers fast delivery through its Turbo speed service.

Display, Battery, and Software Features

Both phones have a 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,600 nits, designed to provide clear visuals indoors and outdoors. The series is powered by a 7000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOCTM fast charging, capable of charging from 1% to 100% in 54 minutes. Bypass Charging reduces heat during charging to protect battery health over time.

The K13 Turbo Series runs on ColorOS 15, which includes features to enhance gaming and multitasking such as an AI Game Assistant, silent startup, one-tap replay, and floating window multitasking. High-Energy Outdoor Mode improves network stability and performance in challenging environments.

Cameras

The phones feature a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization on the Pro version and electronic stabilization on the standard model. A 16MP front camera handles selfies. OPPO’s AI imaging tools support features like AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur for improved photo editing.

Enco Buds 3 Pro Launch

Alongside the phone launch, OPPO announced the Enco Buds 3 Pro, priced at ₹1,799. These true wireless earbuds offer up to 54 hours of total playback. They support fast charging and have a low latency of 47 milliseconds. The Enco Buds 3 Pro will be available in Black and White colours. Sales begin on 27 August, exclusively on Flipkart and OPPO’s online store.
