The officials of Marriott have confirmed that one of their staff members have been tested COVID-19 positive. Akshay Sood, Director of F&B at the property in an interview has stated that all staff in contact has been isolated in the property itself.
The Westin, like other hotels in the city have set up containment rooms for the guests with COVID-19 symptoms. All the guests who have visited the hotel between 12 to 16 March have been advised for self isolation or to report any COVID-19 symptoms to the nearest hospital.
