RailTel Corporation of India has received a significant ₹166.38 crore work order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), further bolstering its role in strengthening India’s digital infrastructure. With a project timeline running until 31 July 2028, the project involves service-related deliverables and reinforces the company’s momentum in the telecom services segment. The work was confirmed on 1 August 2025. It has no promoter or related party involvement and is a domestic engagement.
This award reflects RailTel’s strong standing in the industry, known for its technical expertise, scale, and timely execution of large infrastructure projects, particularly within the public sector.
Alongside this order, RailTel also reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter ending June 2025. Net profit rose to ₹66 crores, registering a 36% increase compared to ₹49 crores in the same quarter last year. Operational revenue grew by 33.2%, reaching ₹744 crores from ₹558 crore year-on-year.
