Reliance Jio has announced a Rs 61 data plan, which includes 6GB of data. People who had a lower-priced plan couldn’t experience 5G, so a new prepaid plan is now available for them.
Reliance Jio has added a Rs 61 prepaid pack that lets users access the latest network in 5G-compatible Indian cities. This 5G data plan will work on those who have recharged with Rs 119, Rs 149, Rs 179, Rs 199 or Rs 209 prepaid plan.
The Reliance Jio customers who are on a Rs 239 prepaid plan or above don’t need to buy an additional pack. If the customers haven’t received the Jio 5G Welcome Offer, then they won’t be able to experience 5G even after buying this 5G data plan.
To access 5G services, the smartphone should be 5G compatible and it should have received a 5G support update from the manufacturer. The device’s mobile network setting should be set to 5G, after it receives Reliance Jio’s 5G invite. One can check for the 5G invite in the company’s MyJio app. The telecom company automatically sends a few notifications related to 5G invites and a banner is placed on the main page of MyJio app to notify customers about the invite.
