Few users have reported that their new iPhone 14 Pro camera is shaking uncontrollably and some have reported that the camera module is even making physical noises when used with third-party apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok.
Users of the new iPhone 14 Pro have reported on Reddit and Twitter about the issue, some even posted video evidence of the same. In the videos, you can see the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera shaking in the third-party apps while the physical camera module itself is also making a grinding/rattling noise of some sort.
It is likely that these third-party apps weren’t prepared for the iPhone 14 Pro camera changes. In particular, it seems the issue is something related to optical image stabilization, hence the rattling sounds the camera module makes itself.
There is no fix for this problem, but Apple will be releasing a software update to fix the camera shake/noise issue affecting iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models by next week.
