Arvind Kumar, Director General of STPI, has played a pivotal role in advancing India’s digital and innovation landscape. Drawing on extensive experience at TRAI and C-DoT, he has contributed to key policy initiatives in broadband, data security, cloud computing, OTT services, and the PM-WANI public Wi-Fi program. Under his leadership, STPI’s network of 73 centres has supported more than 1,700 startups, fostering technology-driven growth across India beyond major metropolitan hubs. He also spearheaded the launch of the Sayuj AI platform and new innovation programs, earning recognition as a Technology Icon driving India’s deep-tech, startup, and digital transformation journey.
