The study highlighted significant improvements delivered by Endpoint Central, including a 95% reduction in manual patching, $913,000 in productivity gains, and over $1 million in savings through the consolidation of legacy IT tools over three years
ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, has revealed the results of a Forrester Consulting study highlighting the economic value of its unified endpoint management and security (UEMS) platform, Endpoint Central. According to the commissioned Total Economic Impact (TEI) report, organizations using the platform experienced a 442% return on investment over a three-year period, with full payback realized in just six months.
The findings are based on interviews conducted by Forrester with four existing Endpoint Central customers, leading to a composite model representing their combined experiences. The study estimates that organizations achieved $4.5 million in total benefits over three years, with a net present value of $3.7 million.
Mathivanan Venkatachalam, Vice President at ManageEngine, noted the platform's role in simplifying IT operations. “Customers replacing multiple tools with Endpoint Central have significantly reduced administrative overhead. It’s encouraging to see these tangible business outcomes validated by Forrester,” he said.
Streamlined IT, stronger security
The study identifies key areas where Endpoint Central delivered measurable improvements, particularly in cost savings, productivity, and system performance. Automated patch management alone reduced manual effort by up to 95%, resulting in an estimated $913,000 in productivity gains. Additionally, consolidating legacy tools saved more than $1 million over three years.
Other advantages included enhanced remote support, streamlined software license management, and the elimination of manual reporting through automated analytics. Organizations also reported improved compliance and security postures, which in some cases led to reductions in cyber insurance costs.
One IT director from a software services firm cited in the study shared, “Our device compliance jumped from 70% to over 95% after deploying Endpoint Central. It has significantly improved manageability and stability across our IT infrastructure.”
The study reinforces Endpoint Central’s value as a unified platform capable of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and strengthening security across diverse IT environments.
