Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director General of CERT-In, is a veteran cybersecurity leader with over four decades of experience in information technology and digital security. Before leading India’s national cyber incident response agency, he served as Global Chief Security Officer at TCS and Chief Security Officer of Microsoft India, where he built robust enterprise security frameworks. A recipient of the prestigious AESRM Excellence in Security Convergence Award, Bahl has played a pivotal role in advancing cybersecurity resilience. Under his leadership, CERT-In has strengthened international cooperation through initiatives such as Exercise Synergy, reinforcing India’s digital security and critical infrastructure protection.
