Capillary Technologies Acquires Mastercard’s SessionM to Strengthen Global Enterprise Loyalty Play

Capillary Technologies, a global provider of AI-driven customer loyalty and engagement solutions, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SessionM from Mastercard, marking Capillary’s most ambitious acquisition to date.

The deal builds on Capillary’s earlier acquisitions of Brierley and Kognitiv and significantly deepens its position in the enterprise loyalty and customer engagement market. With SessionM added to its portfolio, Capillary aims to offer one of the most comprehensive, AI-native loyalty platforms serving large global brands.

Mastercard has identified Capillary—frequently recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™—as the right partner to take SessionM into its next phase of growth. The acquisition brings together complementary technologies designed to enhance personalization, engagement, and long-term customer value for enterprises.

As part of the transaction, a specialized SessionM team will transition to Capillary to ensure continuity of technical expertise and product innovation. SessionM’s global customer base, which includes Fortune 500 retailers, airlines, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, will continue to receive uninterrupted service and support.

The acquisition also aligns with Capillary’s post-IPO growth strategy. The company listed on Indian stock exchanges in November 2025 and has since emphasized mergers and acquisitions as a core lever for expansion.
